I teach German to adults at levels A1, A2, B1 and B2, as well as to school students from grades 5 to 12. In my lessons I use a variety of materials, including audio. I also work with students who prefer individual preparation.
Hello! For me, teaching Spanish to people of different professions, interests, and ages — both young learners and adults — is both a pleasure and a rewarding challenge. My approach is always tailored to each student's individual skills and needs, and I use varied materials focused on building grammar and vocabulary. I hold a degree in Spanish Philology from Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and have many years of experience as a teacher. I look forward to meeting you and being of help!
I have been a teacher for many years and I always tell my students: learning a new language is like life itself — there are good days and bad days. Focus on the good experiences and you'll soon forget the bad ones. Don't give up if you don't get things right the first time — it's better to make mistakes trying than not to try at all. I have extensive experience as a translator for the state administration, and I can help you with spoken English and grammar through conversations on various topics and grammar exercises.
I teach English and German with 22 years of teaching experience. I hold a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics from South-West University "Neofit Rilski" in Blagoevgrad. I also hold the IV Professional Qualification Level.
Every foreign language is a light towards others. No matter how difficult French may seem, you can learn it. Dare to try! The world belongs to those who dare. Fortune smiles on the bold!
For me, languages are at once a profession, a hobby, and a passion! At Kabinata I teach Spanish (A1 and A2), combining traditional methodology with original exercises and drawing frequent comparisons with other languages my students already know. I place a strong emphasis on the psychological challenges and motivation involved in language learning, as well as on building a proactive attitude towards the language.
A good conversation is like food for the soul. When you reach the point in a second language where you can express your opinions, feelings and motivations with the confidence that they are understood and interpreted in the way you intended, satisfaction is guaranteed!
Tatyana Alexandrova van Dijk has been running German and Dutch courses since 2007. She loves her work and loves sharing what she knows, while continuing to learn and broaden her own knowledge. The greatest recognition of her work, she says, is her students' success – many of them now study at universities in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. At Kabinata she is one of the most experienced German teachers: she has taught online since 2019, with more than 1,200 lessons, over 120 students and more than 200 reviews at close to the maximum rating. The motto she has chosen is Nelson Mandela's: if you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head; if you talk to him in his own language, that goes to his heart. Her lessons suit complete beginners as well as students preparing to study in a German-speaking environment.
I was born in South Africa where I grew up speaking Afrikaans and English. English is my second language, so I truly understand the struggles of learning it — and I can really help you! I have taught in South Korea for 15 years, and I have a background in hard and social sciences, which means I can also help with more specialised language use. I believe speaking is the key to mastering English, and I am here to help.
I have been teaching Italian to learners of all ages for more than 26 years. I have delivered training for groups under various EU-funded projects, and I have prepared students and their teachers from Vocational High Schools for Erasmus programmes in Italy. I also hold a senior-teacher qualification at School "Europa".
I've enjoyed a wonderfully diverse career spanning finance, marketing, construction, the NHS, and the leisure and sport industries, and I've served as a business mentor for The Prince's Trust and Centrepoint. I've been teaching English online since 2011, working with students from Spain, China, and Bulgaria, and I'm also a qualified Scuba Diver Trainer and First Aid Instructor. I look forward to helping you improve your English in my relaxed classroom and hearing about your hopes and dreams.
My name is Svetlana Bryuk and I have been teaching German in state and private schools in Munich for over 12 years. I believe that learning a foreign language goes beyond grammar rules and vocabulary — it is a genuine encounter with the mindset and way of thinking of another country. I hope my lessons will give you not only German language skills, but also a real feel for German culture. Welcome to my class!
Daniel is Spanish and teaches his native language to Bulgarian learners. He works both with people starting from zero and with those who already know some Spanish but want to practise and improve it. He has experience with conversation lessons as well as grammar, and his promise to beginners is simple: you will start speaking Spanish from the very first lesson. He has been teaching at Kabinata since the autumn of 2021, with more than 370 online lessons for over 35 students, who have left more than 70 reviews at the maximum rating. If you want to speak Spanish with a native speaker – to hear the real pronunciation and living expressions, not only the textbook ones – Daniel's lessons are exactly that. As he puts it himself: let's get started!
When I went to study in Germany with a German-language diploma in hand, I was confident I was well prepared — until I sat through my first lecture and understood almost nothing. My grammar and vocabulary were perfect, but everyday spoken German was a real challenge. That is exactly why I want to teach you practical, everyday German: how to handle real-life situations — at the doctor's, when job hunting, at school or at university.
Lora teaches French and English and has clear preferences when it comes to materials: given the choice, she goes for textbooks by French, British and American authors. That said, she is happy to work with whatever course system you are following – what matters is that you find joy, culture and success in the language. She prepares students for school assessments, the matura and internationally recognised exams such as DELF and DALF, Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL, and she likes to step outside the textbook: listening exercises built on your favourite songs, YouTube videos and film clips. Every lesson has time set aside for speaking, so that your vocabulary gets activated. She has taught English for specific professions – lawyers, doctors, nurses, chefs and waiters, police officers – as well as Advanced English (C1), using specialised coursebooks from Pearson, Cambridge, Oxford and Express Publishing. She currently also teaches French for the hotel and restaurant business. At Kabinata she has given more than 160 online lessons to over 40 students since late 2023.
Jennie is English, from Birmingham, and lives in Bulgaria. She has been teaching English online for more than fifteen years to learners across Europe, both one-to-one and in groups. In her lessons she encourages people to talk about the topics that genuinely interest them, and she shapes every lesson around the needs of the individual student. To spark discussion and build on what has already been learned, she draws on textbooks, online material, news stories and current affairs; together with the student she works on grammar, reading and conversation, and sometimes on writing. She teaches from the very first level upwards and has prepared people for exams and other requirements when applying for work in England. At Kabinata she gave more than 130 online lessons to over 180 students between 2019 and 2023 and has more than 80 reviews from them. She believes that every step in learning a language is a step towards confident communication – and invites you to take the first one, or the next one, with her.
Ani has been teaching English for around twenty years. She has worked with every age group – from kindergarten children to adult learners – in state schools and in language centres. She believes that a teacher's most important skill is to inspire and intrigue, and it is for exactly that skill that she has been recognised: by her own account she was named “Innovator of the Year 2020” by the Innovation Council of Finland and “Most Dedicated Teacher 2021”, she is listed in the University of Cambridge catalogue, and she holds the “Neofit Rilski 2020” distinction and the “Teacher of the Year 2019” award. At Kabinata she taught more than 120 online English lessons to over 110 students between August 2022 and March 2023, and they have left more than 80 reviews. Her motto is short and confident: the road to success starts with me.
Petya teaches French to children and adults and brings extensive teaching experience in foreign-language education. She works with a wide range of course programmes, chosen to match the learner's age and goals, and gives both one-to-one and group lessons. Her strength is her rapport with children – a skill built up over years of classroom practice – and for parents that means regular consultations and thorough feedback on progress. At Kabinata she taught more than a hundred online French lessons to over 20 students between the summer of 2022 and the summer of 2023, and their reviews rate her highly. Her motto is the French saying “Mieux vaut tard que jamais!” – better late than never: it is never too late to start with French.
Daliia teaches English and is also a fluent speaker of Spanish – and in both languages she has worked out which approach brings a learner's skills closest to those of a native speaker. She describes herself as a dedicated person for whom other people's happiness matters, and she carries that into her lessons. Her course is not a tedious round of memorising words and phrases but a time of engagement, interaction and communication – and above all an exciting exploration of the profound world of languages. Her formula for success is a single one: turn the language into your passion, and with her course that becomes easy. At Kabinata she gave close to a hundred online lessons to over 50 students between the autumn of 2022 and the beginning of 2024, and they have left more than 40 reviews at the maximum rating. Her motto: knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom.
Bilyana has eight years of experience as an educator and English teacher in secondary education, and alongside that she has taught English courses for adults at private language schools. She has worked with every age group – children, teenagers and adults – and knows how to adapt a lesson to the person in front of her. Teaching, she says, gives her genuine professional satisfaction, because it lets her help people of different generations discover the world that Shakespeare's language opens up. She has been teaching online at Kabinata since the spring of 2022, with more than seventy lessons and over 40 students so far. The motto she has chosen for herself comes from Confucius: the will to win, the desire to succeed and the urge to reach your full potential are the keys that unlock the door to personal achievement.
Deborah Micheli is Italian, from Viareggio – a seaside resort town on the Versilia coast of Tuscany, also known as the birthplace of the actress Stefania Sandrelli, the singer Nada, the TV presenter Marco Columbro and the football coach Marcello Lippi. She lived in Bulgaria for ten years and has been back in Italy since May 2019, where she continues to teach. She has been teaching for almost thirty years, ten of them online. Conversation sits at the centre of her lessons – in her view it is the main pillar of learning a foreign language – and the atmosphere is relaxed, fun and informal, so that every student feels at ease. At Kabinata she taught online Italian lessons between 2019 and 2023 – more than seventy of them, with the maximum rating from her students. She works with every level, from complete beginners to advanced learners. As she says herself: “Ti aspetto in cabina!” – I'll be waiting for you in the cabin.
Daniela is a long-standing English teacher who has worked with people of all ages and many nationalities. She knows from experience that a foreign language comes easily to some and takes more effort for others, and that is exactly why she sees it as her job to help every learner overcome the difficulties along the way. For her, English is a window on the world: the chance to talk with people from other countries and to get to know their culture and way of life. She taught online at Kabinata in the first half of 2023 – close to fifty lessons for over 35 students, who left more than 25 reviews with a very high rating. Her motto brings together two thoughts: “To know another language is to possess a second soul” (Charlemagne) and “A man can be destroyed but not defeated” (Ernest Hemingway).
Lilia teaches English and has experience with private students whom she has prepared for levels A1 and A2 – the first and most important steps in the language. Her approach is simple: learning should never feel like a chore. So she prepares engaging exercises in which new material sinks in more easily because it is presented in an enjoyable way. She is convinced that foreign languages open many doors, and that English is the foundation on which every further language is built. She has been teaching online at Kabinata since the summer of 2023, with more than forty lessons and over 30 students so far. If you are just starting out with English or want to consolidate the basics without stress, in clear, small steps, lessons with Lilia are a good place to begin.
Language is a treasure that holds the key to the world, and I would love to help you find exactly that key — to German culture and the richness of the language. Contrary to popular belief, German learned the right way can sound beautiful and captivate you with its complexity. Having lived in Germany, I can introduce you to the culture and share valuable tips for learning quickly and enjoyably. Let's unlock the door to the world of German together!
I am a 28-year-old communications professional who is excited to use my passion and experience of teaching to help other people develop their confidence in the English language. With a background in tutoring children and adults both in the UK and internationally, I bring a unique perspective to learning English. With knowledge in both Russian and Bulgarian, I also understand the challenges of learning a new language first-hand, and I take great care in creating a warm and welcoming learning environment for non-native speakers.
Simona spent eight years living in Austria, where German became part of her everyday life – she speaks it at a very high level, with the feel for the living language that you only pick up among native speakers. Her teaching experience began at a language school in Sofia, where she taught German to children. At Kabinata she works with two kinds of learners: school pupils who need help with their German homework and coursework, and anyone who wants to learn the language purely for pleasure – at a relaxed pace and with no exam pressure. Her motto is that knowledge gives you wings, and she promises to pass on to her students everything she has learned herself. Her lessons suit beginners and people who prefer practical, conversational German to dry theory.
Anna has been working with Spanish for more than ten years. She studied it at secondary school and at university – in Bulgaria and in Spain – and then used it daily in international companies where a high level of business Spanish was required. She has also taken part in various initiatives and internships connected with the language, across several different fields. At Kabinata she offers Spanish lessons for starting from scratch or for consolidating and organising what you already know – and, along the way, for getting to know Spanish culture. Her approach is practical and interactive: more speaking and real-life situations, less dry recitation of rules. She is convinced that a new language is learned best – and existing knowledge is reinforced most easily – in a pleasant and productive setting, and that is exactly what she aims to create in her lessons.
Preslava teaches Italian at Kabinata and believes in learning step by step: every new topic brings new knowledge, followed straight away by vocabulary and grammar exercises, until the words and the rules become a natural part of your speech. Her aim is for students to reach a broad, in-depth command of Italian rather than a handful of memorised phrases. Her motto is “La vita è bella!” – life is beautiful, and Italian is one of the most enjoyable ways to feel it. If you are looking for a teacher who gives you a clear structure and enough practice of each new point before moving on, lessons with Preslava are a good place to start – whether you are taking your first steps in the language or building on what you already know.
