About us

Kabinata is one of the first e-learning education companies in Bulgaria. For over 20 years now, thousands of students, teachers and organisations have been using the company's products every day.

Founding

Kabinata BG was founded in 2005 as a website and a team specialising in online educational services – courses, training and the building of student and teacher platforms. Soon afterwards, the first products aimed at the general public appeared – foreign language courses, Bulgarian for foreigners and courses for students and teachers.

The Kabinata platform

From the very beginning, the distance-learning platform has been the main focus of development – the core functionalities, such as the virtual classroom and the learning paths that students follow, were built up step by step. The platform was the first in Bulgaria to offer a virtual classroom for direct communication between teachers and students. In 2011, Kabinata was named one of the top 50 most innovative companies in the world in the World Bank's Infodev programme and received an award presented in Helsinki, Finland. In June 2023, the sixth consecutive platform was launched – Kabinata 6.0

Besides Kabinata's tens of thousands of course participants, the platform or parts of it are used by numerous companies, organisations, institutions and universities. The company has presented the platform at the exhibitions ‘BAIT Expo’ – Sofia, CeBit – Hanover, Germany, ‘TFM&A’ – London, United Kingdom.

Kabinata is a training provider to the Bulgarian Employment Agency.
