Lora teaches French and English and has clear preferences when it comes to materials: given the choice, she goes for textbooks by French, British and American authors. That said, she is happy to work with whatever course system you are following – what matters is that you find joy, culture and success in the language. She prepares students for school assessments, the matura and internationally recognised exams such as DELF and DALF, Cambridge, IELTS and TOEFL, and she likes to step outside the textbook: listening exercises built on your favourite songs, YouTube videos and film clips. Every lesson has time set aside for speaking, so that your vocabulary gets activated. She has taught English for specific professions – lawyers, doctors, nurses, chefs and waiters, police officers – as well as Advanced English (C1), using specialised coursebooks from Pearson, Cambridge, Oxford and Express Publishing. She currently also teaches French for the hotel and restaurant business. At Kabinata she has given more than 160 online lessons to over 40 students since late 2023.
