Learn English easily and enjoyably with 5 horror series for Halloween! Improve your English skills quickly and effortlessly.

Halloween is not a traditional Bulgarian holiday, but it has gained great popularity in our country over the past decade. The upcoming Halloween on October 31st inspired us to create this article.

For language learners, it is extremely important to take advantage of every opportunity available to learn and practice the new language. It doesn't matter as much what your tastes and preferences are, especially when it comes to films and TV series. What's more important is to make use of this pleasure (or get scared nicely :) while you relax. This way you'll combine the useful with the enjoyable.

Listening and watching the language helps a lot in learning it (look for films with subtitles, not with Bulgarian dubbing). Seeing and hearing how English speakers pronounce certain words and phrases will be of enormous benefit to you. If you like the 'horror' genre, then this article is just for you! So let's not 'waste any more time' and start with the best horror series of the last 10 or so years...!

The Walking Dead ('The Walking Dead')

This series has long held 'cult' status among fans of the horror series genre (the 9th season is expected). It started in 2010 and has Golden Globe nominations. The story revolves around policeman Rick Grimes, who is in a coma following a gunshot wound. When he wakes up, he finds himself in a post-apocalyptic world of zombies. In search of his family, he gathers around him a colorful group of survivors. In their daily struggle for food and safe shelter, they develop their relationships and form a small capable community of survivors.

The action takes place in New York and tells the story of Dr. Ephraim Goodweather, who heads the Center for Infectious Diseases in the city. He and his team must investigate the spread of a mysterious virus linked to vampirism. It turns out that not only 'The Big Apple' but all of humanity is under threat...
