In this lesson you will learn vocabulary for clothes and shopping in a store, as well as how to distinguish and correctly use the Pretérito Indefinido and the Pretérito Imperfecto.
About this lesson
In Lesson 8 you will expand your vocabulary with words for clothes, materials and styles of dress. You will learn how to manage in a clothes shop – asking about size, colour and price. You will practise the two main past tenses in Spanish – the Pretérito Indefinido (the simple past) and the Pretérito Imperfecto (the imperfect) – and you will understand when each of them is used. The lesson material is based on authentic dialogues from a clothes shop and a text about the brand Custo Barcelona.
