About this lesson
In this lesson you will expand your vocabulary with German words and expressions related to the state, justice and the law. You will revise and systematise the four main verb tenses – Präsens, Präteritum, Perfekt and Futur – in the context of real texts at B1 level. Special emphasis is placed on Futur I and Futur II for expressing assumptions about the present and the past. You will also learn the difference between Vorgangspassiv (the passive voice for a process) and Zustandspassiv (the passive voice for a state). The reading texts about corruption and about the househusband Harald will help you practise everything in an authentic language context.
