A revision lesson for B1 level in which students consolidate prepositions with verbs, subordinating conjunctions and temporal conjunctions through a variety of interactive tasks.
About this lesson
In this lesson students will go over and consolidate the key grammar structures from B1 level through a variety of exercises. They will practise the use of prepositions with article endings, subordinating conjunctions (weil, denn, obwohl, trotzdem, deshalb) and temporal conjunctions (als, während, seit, seitdem, solange, sobald). The additional tasks help to build confident and accurate linguistic competence in German. The exercises are based directly on the test tasks from module B1-2, Unit 8.

What you'll learn
- Correctly use prepositions with verbs and the corresponding case endings of the article.
- Distinguish and use the subordinating conjunctions weil, denn, obwohl and the linking words trotzdem and deshalb.
- Link sentences with temporal conjunctions: als, während, seit, seitdem, solange, sobald.
- Build grammatically correct complex sentences at B1 level.
- Recognise the difference between a main clause and a subordinate clause with the different conjunctions.
