In lesson 6 you will read an authentic science magazine text about inventors such as Newton, Pemberton and Dyson. You will master the use of the passé simple — the tense of written narrative — and compare it with the passé composé and the imparfait. You will expand your vocabulary with words from the fields of health, illness and scientific research. Through exercises you will learn to recognize and correctly use the different narrative tenses in written and spoken contexts.
