This lesson covers definite and indefinite articles, the position of the adjective and negation with «ne … pas».
About this lesson
In Lesson 3 you will learn how to use the definite articles «le», «la», «l'» and «les» and the indefinite articles «un», «une» and «des» in French. We will get to know the rules for placing the adjective — before or after the noun. We will look at the three ways of asking a question in French, including with intonation, with «est-ce que» and with inversion. You will also learn how negation is formed with «ne … pas» and how the article changes after it. The lesson is built around an authentic dialogue in which two strangers get to know each other.
