About this lesson
In this lesson you will learn how to form nouns from verbs and adjectives using suffixes such as -tion, -sion, -ment, -ness and many more. You will master the technique of word formation (derivation), which will considerably expand your English vocabulary. You will practise recognising derivative nouns in sentences, using the words in brackets to form the correct form. The exercises are taken directly from the course material and will prepare you to use the new words in speaking and writing.
