In this lesson you will learn how to use the main English conjunctions and, but, or, so, because, as and since to link sentences and ideas in a natural way.
About this lesson
In this lesson you will get to know the main coordinating and subordinating conjunctions in English. You will understand the difference between and, but, or, so and because/as/since. You will read and listen to a text about a girl called Jane who wants a mobile phone, and you will notice how conjunctions link the ideas in the sentences. Finally, you will practise using the conjunctions through sentence completion and interactive tasks.
