According to information in regional media and posts shared on our Facebook page dedicated to the I Can Do More program, the approval timelines vary across different labor offices and we can only assume that they depend primarily on the number of applicants in each municipality.
We asked our Facebook followers (see here and here) what approval timelines they were given when submitting their application documents, and on the basis of these responses, which also mention specific towns, we believe that the smaller the municipality (and therefore fewer applicants), the shorter the timelines, and vice versa – for large cities, and especially Sofia, the stated timelines extend until March 2013.
According to regional media publications, in some municipalities (not including large cities), lists of approved candidates have already been announced.
The application deadline was November 2, and no information has been released regarding whether the program will continue.
List of regional media publications:
- Elkhovo: Announcing those approved under the 'I Can Do More' scheme;
- Vratsa: Launch of the 'I Can Do More' program;
- Stara Zagora: Vouchers distributed under the 'I Can Do More' scheme;
- Dobrich: 1355 people have submitted applications for the 'I Can Do More' project.
We would be grateful, and it would also be helpful to other applicants, if you would share whether you have already been approved, from which labor office, or when you were told you would receive your notification.
