In the United Kingdom (in some parts of northern England – chinkies – always in plural) it is slang terminology for a Chinese restaurant offering takeaway food, or Chinese food purchased from such a restaurant.
Chinky is an adjective derived from the noun chink, which is a strong ethnic slur for Chinese and other Asian emigrants.
