About this lesson
In this lesson you will become familiar with the vocabulary for the home, furniture and colours in Spanish. You will learn how to describe your home using prepositions of place such as «sobre», «debajo de», «al lado de», «entre» and «dentro de». You will practise distinguishing between the verbs «ser» and «estar» when describing characteristics and location. You will look at an authentic text about Carmen's home and practise with dialogues and questions from a real-life language situation. The lesson also covers the colours in Spanish, with an emphasis on their grammatical agreement in gender.
