In this lesson you will learn how to describe your friends in German and compare people and things using the comparison of adjectives, diminutive nouns and verbs with separable prefixes.
About this lesson
In lesson five the topic is "My Friends" – you will learn vocabulary for physical appearance and learn to describe people in German. You will master the three degrees of comparison of adjectives – positive, comparative and superlative – and when "als" and "wie" are used in comparisons. We will look at diminutive nouns with the suffixes -chen and -lein, which make the noun's article "das". You will also get to know verbs with separable prefixes and the imperative in the singular, the plural and the polite form.
