In this lesson you will get to know the vocabulary for homes and furniture, learn how the accusative case (Akkusativ) works in German, and practice personal pronouns and prepositions with the Akkusati
About this lesson
In this lesson you will learn to describe your home and apartment in German — the rooms, the furniture and the objects in them. You will understand how compound words are formed in German and why the gender of the last word is so important. You will master the grammar of the accusative case (Akkusativ) — how the definite and indefinite articles change only in the masculine. You will also learn the personal pronouns in the accusative case and the most common prepositions that require the Akkusativ: für, ohne and durch.
