About this lesson

In lesson 1 you will immerse yourself in an authentic family dialogue — “Une propriété convoitée” — and learn how the past conditional (conditionnel passé) is formed and used. You will see how this form is used to express hypotheses about the past, regrets, dreams and reproaches. You will enrich your vocabulary with words from the theme “Fear and courage” and practise the new structures through a variety of interactive tasks. The lesson corresponds to B2 level and combines grammar, vocabulary and speaking practice.
