In this lesson you will learn to describe places and objects with descriptive verbs, to express certainty, impossibility and probability, and to report other people's words like a journalist.
About this lesson
In Lesson 7 of module B1-1 we will step into the role of a journalist and learn to describe places and organizations with precise descriptive verbs. We will look at how certainty, uncertainty and impossibility are expressed in French, and we will practice reporting other people's words (discours rapporté). The vocabulary of the lesson covers adjectives, nouns and verbs for the shape, dimensions and characteristics of objects, while the grammar exercises are inspired by the tourist text about Carcassonne and by the journalist's work at the town council.
