About this lesson
In Lesson 43 you will master the plus-que-parfait — the pluperfect tense, which expresses an action completed before another past action. You will learn how it is formed with the auxiliary verbs avoir and être in the imparfait, combined with the participe passé. Beyond grammar, you will expand your vocabulary with words related to the theater, theft and reactions. Through dialogues with actors and a police interrogation you will practice natural spoken and written language. Finally, you will learn how to convey other people's words in reported speech, applying the correct tense changes.
