In this lesson we learn the indirect object pronouns (me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur) and how they are used with verbs of communication such as téléphoner, écrire, dire, donner and others.
About this lesson
In Lesson 23 you will get to know the indirect object pronouns in French – me, te, lui, nous, vous, leur – and learn how to use them correctly with verbs of communication such as téléphoner, écrire, dire and donner. We will work with an authentic dialogue from Bordeaux airport, in which the characters introduce themselves, exchange pleasantries and arrange a dinner at a restaurant. You will practice the pronouns in different verb tenses and forms – the present, the near future, the past and the imperative. Finally, you will consolidate your knowledge through exercises, a dictation and speaking tasks based directly on the lesson texts.
