A lesson on possessive and demonstrative adjectives in French, with a dialogue featuring the Delvaux family and «si», the reply to a negative question.
About this lesson
In Lesson 14 you will dive into a dialogue from the everyday life of the Delvaux family and master the possessive adjectives (mon, ma, mes, ton, ta, tes, son, sa, ses, notre, nos, votre, vos, leur, leurs) and the demonstrative adjectives (ce, cet, cette, ces). You will also learn the important rule about «si» — the special positive answer to a negative question. You will practice everything through interactive tests based on the authentic text of the lesson. The lesson is at A1 level and builds a solid grammatical foundation for further communication in French.

Use the demonstrative adjectives ce, cet, cette and ces correctly.
Answer with «si» instead of «oui» when giving a positive answer to a negative question.
Understand and use key vocabulary from the dialogue (fonctionnaire, préfecture, peintre, bassin…).
