About this lesson
In this lesson you will get to know the 26 letters of the French alphabet and their pronunciation. You will learn the basic rules for reading vowels (a, e, i, o, u), consonants (c, g, h, s, ch, ph) and nasal sounds. You will see how the same sounds can be spelled in different ways and you will practise with real words. The lesson lays the foundation of correct pronunciation, without which it is impossible to speak and read French.
