A revision lesson covering key grammar structures from the module: prepositions after verbs, the infinitive of purpose, future tenses, conditional sentences and agreement with "so/neither/either".
About this lesson
In this lesson we revise and consolidate all the important grammar structures from the previous lessons of the module. We practise the correct preposition after verbs such as "rely on", "forgive for", "belong to" and "be charged with". We look at the use of the infinitive of purpose (to + verb) and the structure "so that / in case / unless". We revise the future forms – "will", "going to", the Present Continuous for an arranged meeting and the Future Perfect – through specific sentences from the original exercises. The lesson ends with practical speaking and writing tasks to strengthen your confidence before the test.

What you'll learn
- Use the correct prepositions after verbs such as 'rely on', 'forgive for', 'belong to', 'be charged with' and 'be keen on'.
- Distinguish 'very' (with base adjectives) from 'absolutely' (with strong adjectives).
- Form the infinitive of purpose (to + verb) and the structure 'so that / in case / unless'.
- Choose the correct future form – 'will', 'going to', Present Continuous or Future Perfect.
- Use 'so do I', 'neither am I', 'either' and short answers to express agreement and disagreement.
- Fill in the correct prepositions in a connected text (e.g. 'at the age of', 'in a car crash', 'for the past six years').
