About this lesson

In this lesson you will learn how to use the grammar structure 'have something done' – when someone else does something for you. We will read a dialogue at a car service centre and an advertisement for a beauty salon in Edinburgh. You will practise asking and answering about services in English – for example car servicing or beauty treatments. Through reading and speaking exercises you will consolidate the structure in real, everyday situations.
