About this lesson

In this lesson you will review and consolidate your knowledge of the passive voice in English. You will practise passive constructions in different tenses – past simple, present simple, perfect and progressive – through an authentic text about the Grammy Awards. You will learn to distinguish when to use the active and when the passive voice, and why the choice of tense matters. The exercises include gap-filling, reordering and speaking tasks inspired by real teaching material.
