Actually, watching films leads to what is called indirect learning. This is subconscious learning of words and grammatical structures of the language. The Lion King (The Lion King)
That's right, you read correctly. John Favreau's film is a new version of Disney's great 1994 film and will be in cinemas in early August 2019. Judging by the trailer, the film is an almost exact adaptation of the previous version. But this time it is made with photorealistic computer imagery. As early as 2016, there was talk of a new 'The Lion King' following the success of 'The Jungle Book,' directed by the same director. We hope that this production will also possess the same excellent quality.
Godzilla II – King of the Monsters (Godzilla 2 – King of the Monsters)
Michael Dougherty's film is a sequel to Godzilla (2014) and will appear in cinemas in early June. The MONARCH agency will confront us with a series of kaiju of mythical proportions: Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and the three-headed monster, King Ghidorah! The awakening of these titanic monsters will put humanity's fate in mortal danger and will keep you on edge. While waiting for the film's premiere, you could (again) watch Godzilla from 2014 in English with Bulgarian subtitles.
Glass (Glass)
This is a sequel to 2 films – Unbreakable (2000) and 'Split' (2016). The incredible suspense and horror director M. Night Shyamalan presents it in his inimitable way, together with the lead actors: Bruce Willis (with whom he made the famous 'The Sixth Sense'), James McAvoy, and Sarah Paulson. David Dunn (Bruce Willis) tries to restrain the destructive rage of Kevin Wendell Crumb (James McAvoy), known as 'The Beast,' who spreads terror in the zoo where he worked. During the story, 'The Glass Man' Elijah Price – played by Samuel L. Jackson – reveals himself as the true conductor of the plot and the fates of both heroes. The film will be released this month (January 2019) on large screens in Bulgaria and abroad. Do not miss it!
Isn't It Romantic (Isn't It Romantic)
This romantic comedy is directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson and is on the list of romantic films for St. Valentine's Day. It tells the story of Natalie, a cynical architect living in New York (played by Rebel Wilson). The main character's life presents us with 2 major problems: her boss does not notice her, no matter what she does, and troubled relationships with men who are frightened by her excessive cynicism. But everything changes when Natalie meets pickpocket Blake (played by sex symbol Liam Hemsworth).
The film is perfect for incurable romantics who want to get acquainted with the New York accent.
The Upside (The Upside)
This is the North American version of the French film Intouchables, directed by Neil Burger. It is expected to be in cinemas in September.
Based on a true story and adhering to the 2011 film version, Burger reveals to us the story of an American millionaire who is paralyzed as a result of an accident and who will rediscover his desire for life, thanks to an unlikely friendship with his new assistant, who has just been released from prison and is seeking redemption. If you liked the French version, then you should not miss the American remake.
