On the Kabinata online platform for learning foreign languages, education takes place on several levels – lessons in the virtual classroom with a teacher, homework assignments, work with interactive materials, and taking a test to check your knowledge at the end of each level. By combining these modules, the student achieves maximum effective mastery of the material and comprehension of the foreign language through listening, speaking, writing, reading, and exercises. In this article, we will pay special attention to working with learning materials to assist the student in studying the foreign language.
The learning materials on Kabinata, regardless of the language you choose – English, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, and others – are specially selected and tailored to the material being studied in the corresponding module of the language level. In this way, what is learned in the virtual classroom is supplemented and reinforced in a natural way in the student's perception.
You can view the materials by clicking on "Materials" from the main menu. After that, all materials for the corresponding language course will be available to you. Regardless of the level you are currently at, you have the ability to view and work with materials from all levels. Just as with attending online lessons, when working with the interactive materials for the modules, you can adjust and distribute everything in accordance with your individual schedule.

The materials are developed by our teachers and include guidelines in Bulgarian. Within the module itself, they are organized and attached to individual lessons in sequence. For each lesson, you will find exercises for mastering grammar, listening comprehension, reading, dictation, test exercises with questions and answers, and more.
The interactive learning materials are divided into several main types:
-
Reading texts;
Reading comprehension texts, filling in words in the text, answering questions related to the content of the text, and more. The system is equipped with answers to the questions, and after submitting your answers, you will see the correct ones, so you can compare them and assess your performance.
-
Grammar exercises;
On the platform, you can complete various exercises related to grammar mastery – for pronouns, verb tenses, sentence construction, and many others. After completing the exercise and clicking the "Submit" button, the platform immediately shows the correct and incorrect answers.

-
Tests;
With the help of tests, which are completed entirely online, you can monitor your level of material mastery. By clicking the "Submit" button, the online platform automatically shows you the correct answers and you can immediately check where you have gaps and what needs additional practice.
-
Dictations;
On the platform, you will find an audio recording with a specialized dictation that you can do at home. After that, the platform shows the correctly transcribed text, which you can compare and identify the places where you make mistakes. With the dictation, you will also find a list of new words included in it, as well as grammatical features of the text.
-
Audio materials for listening;
These are short audio files with various tasks attached to them. For example, for listening comprehension – questions of the True/False type, which aim to check the level of understanding of what was heard. After entering your answers, the system will show the correct ones and will mark those places that you got wrong.
-
Video recordings for viewing.
For each lesson, you will find grammatical material that is accompanied by detailed video explanations of 3-4 minutes each. Also, there are special exercises with video explanations that are created to reinforce or check your knowledge.
-

The lessons on Kabinata are recorded and can be watched by students at a time convenient for them.
