Antonyms can be formed using the prefixes -des and -dis: bloquear – desbloquear (block – unblock), mejorado – desmejorado (improved – worsened), enlace – desenlace (link – denouement), conectado – des

Antonym formation can also occur through prefixes

-des, – dis

bloquear – desbloquear (block – unblock)

mejorado – desmejorado (improved – worsened)

enlace – desenlace (link – denouement)

conectado – desconectado (connected – disconnected)

equilibrio – desequilibrio (balance – imbalance)

agradable – desagradable (pleasant – unpleasant)

alojar – dealojar (accommodate – evict)

gusto – disgusto (pleasure – displeasure), etc.

or through a word – antonym that does not share the same root as the given word

bueno – malo (good – bad)

hermoso – feo (beautiful – ugly)

ancho – estrecho (wide – narrow)

alto – bajo (tall – short)

mojado – seco (wet – dry)
