About this lesson
In this lesson, we focus on the language of professional meetings and discussing team news. You will build on your skills for giving recommendations, expressing doubt and uncertainty, using cautious and diplomatic phrasing, and making hypothetical proposals with the conditional mood. You will practise using the subjunctive after demanding, evaluative, and emotional expressions, and expand your vocabulary with useful idioms for the workplace.

- Formulate polite suggestions and conditional scenarios in work meetings (conditional mood: simple and compound).
- Use the subjunctive for recommendations, doubt, evaluative and impersonal expressions (es imprescindible que…, conviene que…, dudo que…).

- Briefly report on news and changes within the team or company, relay other people's opinions, and summarise decisions from a meeting.
