About this lesson
In this lesson we focus on the language tools that allow B2-level speakers to come across as both persuasive and tactful in professional discussions and news analysis. We consolidate the uses of the subjunctive to express doubt, evaluation, purpose, and condition, as well as the conditional for hypothetical suggestions and softened opinions. We also introduce idioms and linking expressions that make speech more fluent and natural in real-world contexts such as meetings, negotiations, and editorial discussions.
