Lesson 4: Shopping and First Steps with the Pretérito Perfecto
In this lesson, we introduce the recent past tense (pretérito perfecto) through the theme of shopping and expressing simple opinions.
About this lesson
Lesson 4 builds on core vocabulary by focusing on real store conversations: asking about sizes and prices, trying things on, paying, and returning items. We introduce and practise the pretérito perfecto for recent actions (hoy, esta semana, ya, todavía no), as well as short opinion phrases with me gusta / me queda. Perfect as a first encounter with the past tense in everyday, real-life situations.
