In this lesson we describe daily routines and tell the time in Spanish using simple present-tense sentences.
About this lesson
Suitable for beginners (A1). You will master key verbs for everyday activities (desayunar, trabajar, volver, cenar) and learn how to ask and tell the time: ¿Qué hora es?, Es la una, Son las…, a la/las. You will practise short sentences with yo/tú/él/ella and expressions for different parts of the day.

What you'll learn
- Ask and tell the time using Es la…/Son las…
- Describe a simple daily routine using 5–6 high-frequency verbs in the present tense.
- Use the preposition a la/las in time expressions (e.g. a las ocho).
- Ask and answer the question ¿A qué hora…?
- Recognise basic reflexive verb forms in the first-person singular (me levanto, me acuesto).
