Lesson 1 — Italian A2

A lesson on restaurant vocabulary, ordering food and describing the menu – based on an authentic dialogue in an Italian restaurant.

About this lesson

In this lesson you will immerse yourself in the atmosphere of a real Italian restaurant. You will learn how to order food, how to describe dishes and how to talk about preferences at the table. The vocabulary is taken directly from an authentic dialogue between customers and a waiter, which makes the learning as realistic as possible. You will get to know typical Italian dishes – antipasti, pasta and main courses – and the ways Italians describe them. The lesson is at A2 level and is ideal for learners who already know the basics of Italian.
