About this lesson

In this lesson we introduce the passato prossimo (Italian simple past) with the most common auxiliary verbs avere and essere, so you can talk about last weekend and free-time activities. We'll also practise useful expressions for clothes shopping and everyday purchases, as well as how to share quick opinions. Ideal for A2 level – with a focus on high-frequency verbs and real-life situations.
