About this lesson
This beginner lesson introduces the most commonly used greetings, how to say your name, and how to ask someone else for theirs. You will practise simple self-introductions, basic courtesy phrases, and the key differences between informal and formal forms of address.

What you'll learn
- Use basic greetings appropriate to the situation (time of day, formal vs. informal).
- Introduce yourself using: "Mi chiamo…", "Sono…".
- Ask simple questions such as: "Come ti chiami?", "Come sta/stai?".
- Use polite expressions: "Piacere", "Arrivederci".
- State your origin with "Sono di…" and recognise "Di dove sei? / Di dov'è?"
