About this lesson
In this lesson you will explore the topic of global environmental problems and learn a rich German vocabulary related to the environment, pollution and recycling. You will look at three forms of the passive in German: Vorgangspassiv (the passive of action), Zustandspassiv (the passive of state) and Passiv with modal verbs. You will also get to know the German practice of separating rubbish and the typical prejudices surrounding it. The lesson combines reading authentic texts, grammar exercises and listening and reading comprehension tests.
