You will practise expressions for giving opinions, agreeing and disagreeing, conceding a point (trotzdem), making polite suggestions with Konjunktiv II, and expressing purpose with um...zu. What you'll learn
- Express your stance and feelings on urban and environmental topics (Meiner Meinung nach, ehrlich gesagt).
- Agree or disagree and propose compromises (Ich wäre dafür / Ich bin dagegen, einen Kompromiss finden).
- Make polite suggestions using Konjunktiv II (würde, könnte) and the impersonal form (man könnte).
- Connect arguments logically using trotzdem/dennoch, deshalb, and purpose clauses with um...zu.
- Use the Präsens passive to talk about public measures (Es werden Regeln eingeführt…).
