About this lesson
The sixth lesson at A2 level. You will learn how to form the Perfekt with haben/sein to talk about what you did over the weekend or on a short trip. We practise handy phrases for shopping, asking for and giving directions, as well as sharing quick opinions on prices and amenities. We also touch on the topics of work and hobbies, so you can connect everyday life with stories from the past.

What you'll learn
- Form the Perfekt with the auxiliary verbs haben/sein for common verbs (kaufen, arbeiten, fahren, gehen, wandern).
- Give a short account of a past weekend or trip using simple sentences.
- Ask for and give directions around town using the Sie imperative (Gehen Sie…, Biegen Sie…).
- Handle shopping situations: asking about prices, paying by cash or card, requesting a receipt, and expressing opinions (günstig/teuer).
- Use basic phrases about work and hobbies in both the present tense and the Perfekt.
