In this lesson, we learn to tell the time, talk about dates and seasons, and use the prepositions “im”, “am” and “um” correctly in German.
About this lesson
In Lesson 8 you will dive into your daily routine in German – “Mein Tag”. You will learn how to give the time formally (12:15 Uhr) and informally (Viertel nach zwölf). You will understand when the prepositions “im”, “am” and “um” are used – for seasons, days of the week, parts of the day and the exact time. You will read an exciting story about a boy hurrying to the airport to meet his aunt Tina, and you will answer questions with “Wann?”. The lesson includes exercises with real dialogues, reading, grammar and speaking practice.
