About this lesson
In this lesson, we continue building on the skills developed in the early B2 units, with a focus on authentic workplace meeting scenarios: setting goals and agendas, listening and balancing competing interests, and presenting objections and proposals. We will practise using the subjunctive to express necessity, doubt, and conditions, as well as the conditional for polite recommendations and hypothetical situations. We will also work with idiomatic expressions and register (formal/neutral) so that you can come across as confident and professional in news and corporate communication contexts.
