About this lesson
In this lesson, we practise communication related to renting a home: how to request a viewing, negotiate rent and timelines, and respond to maintenance issues (a leak, a broken heating system). We will use the conditional for polite requests, the subjunctive for wishes and requirements, and distinguish between the key tenses when talking about past experiences and future plans.
