Lesson 10: Weekend Story – passé composé, Shopping, Getting Around the City & Opinions
The final A2 lesson: introducing and consolidating the passé composé through weekend storytelling, city activities, shopping, giving directions, and expressing simple opinions.
About this lesson
In this final A2 lesson, you will learn to talk about past weekend events using the passé composé with the auxiliary verbs avoir and être. You will practise key sequencing markers (d'abord, ensuite, finalement), discuss shopping (prices, trying things on, buying), navigate the city (prendre le bus, aller, giving directions), and share brief opinions about your experiences. All content is authentic and grounded in real-life situations: recounting a trip, visiting a museum or market, making purchases, and finding your way around town.
