Lesson 8: Talking About Last Weekend – Hobbies, Shopping, and Getting Around the City
Speak about last weekend in French with an introduction to the passé composé; shopping, hobbies, city transport, directions, and simple opinions.
About this lesson
In this lesson you will learn how to talk about your weekend: where you went, what you bought, and how you got around. We introduce the passé composé with the most common verbs (avoir/être), useful expressions for navigating the city, and simple evaluations such as "C'était…". Ideal for A2 level, with a focus on real-life situations: the mall, a museum, a park, the metro, and quick opinions on price and experience.
