Lesson 4: Shopping in the City & First Steps with the Passé Composé

Discover how to shop and navigate the city, and take your first steps with the passé composé to talk about things you did yesterday.

About this lesson

In Lesson 4, we practise the language of shopping (prices, sizes, trying things on), asking for and giving directions around the city, and get a solid introduction to the passé composé for describing recent events. We work with high-frequency vocabulary and expressions, mini-dialogues, and short 'yesterday' narratives. The topics are woven together through hands-on tasks so you can speak confidently about shopping trips and getting around town.
