Lesson 3: Shopping for Clothes & First Steps in the Past Tense
A focus on clothes shopping: sizes, trying things on, prices, polite requests, and a first look at storytelling in the passé composé (I bought / I paid).
About this lesson
In this lesson you'll practise realistic situations in a clothing store: asking about sizes, colours and discounts, requesting to try something on, saying how something fits, and paying at the till. We also introduce your first use of the passé composé with high-frequency verbs such as acheter, essayer and payer, so you can talk about what you bought yesterday. Ideal for beginner A2 learners — Lesson 3 of 10 in the Kabinata course.
