A practice lesson on introducing yourself in French: your name, where you are from, marital status, profession and numbers. A review of the present tense with regular and irregular verbs.
About this lesson
In this lesson you will learn to introduce yourself in French and to talk about someone close to you — what their name is, what their profession is and what their marital status is. You will review the present tense (Le Présent) for the three verb groups, including the most important irregular verbs such as être, avoir, aller, venir and faire. You will also consolidate the numbers from 0 to 1000 and beyond, because you will need them to give a date of birth, an address and the number of children. The lesson is built as an exercise — just like a real presentation in front of a class.
