Lesson 8: Present Perfect — Experience & Achievements

We practise the Present Perfect to talk about personal experiences and achievements using words like ever, never, already, yet, and so far.

About this lesson

In this lesson you will master the Present Perfect for talking about life experiences and accomplished results. You will learn to distinguish it from the Past Simple in contexts such as CVs, education, and real-life stories. You will practise key time markers (ever, never, already, yet, just, so far) as well as since/for to express duration and starting points. By the end, you will be using linking words to build more cohesive sentences and recounting experiences and achievements naturally.
