About this lesson
In this lesson you will learn how to form the Past Simple Tense with regular verbs by adding the ending –ED. You will master the spelling rules for adding –ED – when the final consonant is doubled, when "y" changes to "i" and when no change is made. You will practise questions with the auxiliary verb DID and negatives with DIDN'T using real sentences from the lesson. You will work with an authentic text about Anna Nicole Smith and with a story about the Smith family's weekend. Everything is supported by practical writing, listening and speaking exercises.
