About this lesson
In this lesson you will get to know the four demonstratives in English: this, that, these and those. You will understand when they are used for objects that are near (this/these) and when for those that are far away (that/those). You will also learn the difference between singular and plural in their use. Through dialogues, example sentences and interactive exercises, you will practise the demonstratives in real everyday situations. The lesson also includes a more advanced use of this/these and that/those in relation to time (now vs. the past).
