A revision lesson covering the articles (a/an/the/-), nationalities, pronouns, prepositions and the verb to be — everything learned so far in the course.
About this lesson
In this lesson the student will go over and check their knowledge of key topics from the previous lessons. We will practise the use of the indefinite (a/an) and the definite (the) article, as well as the absence of an article with languages and the plural. We will revise the verb to be in the affirmative, negative and question forms, nationalities and basic pronouns. The lesson also includes conversational expressions for greeting and saying goodbye, and at the end the student will write a short letter about themselves.

What you'll learn
- Use the indefinite article a/an correctly before countable nouns
- Know when the definite article the is used and when no article is used at all
- Conjugate the verb to be in the affirmative, negative and question forms
- Recognise and use basic nationalities (Mexican, French, etc.)
- Use the prepositions at, on and in correctly in set expressions (at work, on holiday, in the north of)
- Understand and use basic conversational expressions for greeting and saying goodbye
